The group's name is in this rant.

From my friend's page:

I support OWS, I really do. However, please understand that all of these "uniformed servicemember stands up to police" images aren't truthful. An active duty servicemember is forbidden from protesting or participating in any government type activity like that while in uniform. Hell, I think it's actually even against the rules for them to vote while in uniform. Uniformed servicemembers are to show no political bias.

My friend: did you seriously block me from the page for pointing out that active duty military members are not permitted to protest in uniform? I have supported your page for ages now, I have shared your information and am a HUGE supporter of OWS...I simply dislike when things are put forth in a less than truthful manner..saying that these brave soldiers are doing all this, when this guy is not showing any rank insignia, anything to show he even ever served in the Navy..anyone can get themselves a uniform and put it on...

If you did not block me and it is a fb glitch, I apologize, but if you did I am deeply saddened. I thought your page was more about being truthful and honest about what is going on in the world and with our government, not spreading propaganda and emotional blackmail type images.

Him: The problem is you did not say in either of your posts that "active duty military members are not permitted to protest in uniform." What you did was call me a liar. If you've been a fan of my world renowned, award winning page with over a million views EVERY DAY then you'd understand why I have zero tolerance for slanderous comments on my forum. For what it is worth several people in the comments section said you over reacted in your comments, but I had banned you before that happened.

This is my house, not yours, and if you are not respectful you will not be allowed to participate. You do not get to be terse with me, I could care less. Do you understand that I do not work for you and do not care what you like or do not like? Have you ever put a penny in my pocket? And yet you have the nerve to tell me what I should or should not be doing? I have a great idea. Go start your own page that receives millions of hits and pass out your loving commentary for the world to read.

With such a charming personality I am sure you will go far in such an endeavor. Do not bother to respond, anything you send will be immediately discarded.
Dr. Lou Colagiovanni

Me:I never called YOU a liar. I stated that the information in the video was untruthful. Granted, I didn't say it specifically, I did not expect that you would take it personally, I figured you would recognize that I was responding to the video stating that it was a navy person, when there is no evidence supporting that besides a partial dress uniform.

After this discourse, you will no longer have my support and I will encourage my friends to avoid your page as well. You can throw your statistics at me all you want, that makes you no better than the others who sit on their high horses and try to speak down to the regular person who is a victim of the big names and pompous attitudes. Shame on you.

Even if he had unblocked me, I would not have returned.

Here's an idea! Be civil the first time and I won't have to waste my time reading your message and responding with a big fat NO!

If there is one thing I dislike above all else it is rude people.

Please forgive me while I shiver in my boots at the thought of losing YOUR support. Whatever will we do without you?

My Friend: You have attacked me, you have insinuated that I am a troll...after I have supported your page for a long time now. Now you are outright LYING about me. I have no sense of entitlement, I don't know where you are getting that. I haven't asked you for a single thing, and if you believe I have, please quote me and let me know because I can break it down for you as you seem to be a little too full of yourself to understand clear English.

Wichita Business Journal - by Daniel McCoy Reporter

Date: Monday, May 9, 2011, 3:00pm CDT - Last Modified: Monday, May 9, 2011, 3:02pm CDT

Email: dhmccoy@bizjournals.com

Kansas’ Fourth District Congressman Mike Pompeo told the Wichita Aero Club on Monday that he sees two distinct visions for America’s future.

One vision holds that any problem, no matter the size, can be solved if government gets more involved and passes more laws to regulate it.

The other vision holds that government should get out of the way whenever it can.

Pompeo, who falls among those who hold the second outlook, told the crowd of local aviation leaders that they likely wouldn’t change the mind of those in favor of growing government.

To limit the regulations and taxes many in the industry say hamper their business, change will have to come from the polling places during coming elections, Pompeo said.

“We have to win,” he said.

Pompeo, who was the guest speaker Monday at the Aero Club’s May luncheon, also talked about — and was asked about by the audience — the national deficit.

It’s a bill that eventually comes due, he said, calling a deficit nothing more than a debt deferral. However, if the country shows a clear plan for repayment, he believes the debt market will react favorably and the dollar will strengthen.

But the deficit also means the government has to tighten its purse strings.

“We will simply have to do less,” Pompeo said. “And this is not a partisan issue. This is an American issue of epic proportions.”

Pompeo also spoke about the recent complaint against The Boeing Co. by the National Labor Relations Board, expressing his belief that Boeing did nothing wrong in choosing a nonunion site in South Carolina for a second 787 Dreamliner assembly center.

As for the mood toward general aviation on Capitol Hill, Pompeo — who has been in office a little more than four months now — said there is strong support for the industry in the House of Representatives.

What he has yet to see or hear, he says, is President Obama come out clearly in favor of the industry.

He called recent visits by federal officials like Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood a great step. He just hopes the man at the top hears the message about the economic benefits of general aviation.

Better still, Pompeo said, is if he sees it for himself.

“I hope the president will come to understand what a wonderful resource Kansas aviation is,” Pompeo said. “I’d love to have the president come out and have him meet the folks here. I want him to come see these people who are doing such great work.”

Except if they win the population looses. What they are talking about taking away from the government is what protects us as citizens of this state and this country. They want the major corporations to rule over the people as if we were slaves, just to keep the money from them, (ie the Koch brothers et al...) in their pockets, they really don't care about the small business men and women, they really don't care about the poor, they really don't care about anyone but themselves. And unfortunately for the Republican Populace, the ones they elected don't care about them either; save to use their votes to keep large corporate money flowing into their pockets.

In the four months that Pompeo has been in office, he has voted for things like this, http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=hr112-5&tab=summary and yet hasn't followed it; for example, I haven't seen any citation of where in the constitution it says we should give big corporations tax cuts. It was in the beginning of this country that a corporation would only last as long as a job needed to be done. Yet now corporations are being allowed to spend billions to get the folks they can keep in their pockets into office.

Also in the four months that he has been in office, he voted for this http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=hr112-26&tab=summary and this takes away the health care bill that Obama pushed so hard to get. While I'm not totally fond of the health care bill, its much better than what we had and I look forward to a day that I can afford to get good health care.

Why did he vote for this? http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-836&tab=summary , where does it benefit his constituents? What does he have against N.P.R.? http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=hr112-174&tab=summary And he's all for keeping us at war, what does he stand to gain from that? http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=hc112-28&tab=summary . How about reducing regulatory burdens? Does this bill do what I think it does and allows more dumping of chemicals, pesticides etc... into our already polluted water? The same water we are supposed to drink? http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h112-872

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h112-1214 What does this bill mean for the children of this country? The summary tells the story better. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1214&tab=summary
Quite honestly, I dread the reality that he and other Republican leaders are trying to make in and of this country. I don't know that our nation will ever be great again with leaders like Boehner, Scott, Brownback and Pompeo.
The country will once again have unsafe water, air and soil and die from influenza and plague as they once did because all these programs will be cut, and are being cut as we speak, for the sake of the almighty dollar! There will be no social welfare programs nor mental health programs available so the streets will turn into slums and diseased ridden holes with bodies once again littering the streets because the corrupt health insurers won't pay for medical help. Our bridges, roads will be in ruins because nobody wants to pay taxes for the upkeep. There will be more crime than the remaining police can handle because your kind doesn't want to pay their salaries. Buildings and homes will burn because there is not enough firemen. Instead of your grandchildren thanking you for not leaving them with a huge debt, they will hate your guts and understand just what kind of money loving, hateful, racist beasts forced them into their pitiful existence all because of their twisted love of money and racial hatred. And what are the Democrat leadership doing...so far they haven't grown their balls to speak up and say enough!

Well, tell you what this TAX PAYER is saying ENOUGH!
What set me off is this:
http://tinyurl.com/2e2c4zv

And then of course is the you tubes about the Koch brothers, there are three segments to this. I wonder just how many of the Tea Partier's know who is funding their way on the trips and for them to be out there with the signs and everything...I wonder if they realize they are being used for the gain of big corporations?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EBvgXNGTOI

And of course the Republicans are playing right into their hands with this. They have been "wooing" the Tea Party and their candidates from the beginning, I bet they thought they were going to turn the Tea Party into the new Republican Party.

Speaking of the Tea Party, how about this little gem?

Some of the Tea Party leaders who were once "staunch" Republicans and what they are trying to do to our Constitution.
http://tinyurl.com/23qjvnb

Do the Tea Party folks realize that they will end up wearing the collars of their Corporate masters if they don't wake up and see what they are doing to themselves and our country?
And how about McCain, the "war hero" who supposedly suffered at the hands of the V.C. in a prison camp.
http://www.the-peoples-forum.com/cgi-bin/readart.cgi?ArtNum=3986

Which gives us cause to ponder on just what kind of a hero McCain actually is. With reading this I actually think he is more of a traitor and in his years as senator in AZ he has take away more benefits from the military folks than he has fought to give us. We who also wore the uniforms of the different branches of the military.

Or how about this?

http://tinyurl.com/37by2ha

Hearing from one of their own that the GOP has ruined the budget and seems to be doing it every chance they get. What more do we need to show us that the GOP is not on the side of the working class people?

With all of this at our fingertips on the internet, why aren't the Democratic leaders using this information to the benefit of the people? They are claiming to be fighting for us, but they are sure picking a lousy way of showing it. How often has any of the senators asked or talked to any of their constituents about how the health care reforms are doing for their small businesses or for the individuals who are using what has been set up and is going?
Why aren't the leaders showing the proof that is out there about how the health care is getting better for folks or how the tax cuts that have been given to the middle class is actually working? Or any of the other one hundred plus things?
Many of which can be found here:
http://whatthefuckhasobamadonesofar.com/

I could probably say more, but you get the point, even a Moderate has their breaking point and I'm so ready to find something other than the Coffee Party and the Tea Party to show those in government just how pissed I am, that they keep playing games with the lives of the folks they are supposed to be serving, those of us who are NOT CORPORATIONS and voted for them(in my case the Democrats) anyway.Gryphhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13559324664045017481noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543861559918510789.post-29474798819826964622010-11-30T12:29:00.000-06:002010-11-30T12:29:09.937-06:00Getting rid of Don't Ask, Don't TellThe story I had originally put up here was Senator Al Franken speaking on half of the GLBT community in opening up the military to all, by getting rid of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
I'm sorry that I didn't write it out and put it up before now, but I've been trying to hide as it was coming up on the "holiday season" and its the time of year I hate most working retail. But on to the reason I'm speaking out on this now.

I was so deep in the closet when I was active duty and I would have been a much better soldier if I had been able to be myself, a full person instead of half a person controlled by using alcohol to cover the hidden part of me. There were many women who were raped as a way to make them straight,(along with the fact that women were raped, just because they were in "men's territory" by being in the military) before they were kicked out of the service in the '70's was not what I wanted for me and I had wanted to be a solder far more than I wanted almost anything, except being a writer.

Possibly this week we, the United States of America are coming up on the congress voting on if gay, lesbian and trans folks can serve openly and honestly with out having to hide who we are in our military, for our country.

Other countries have their gay(using as an umbrella term) citizens serving openly and there are no problems, so why can't we?
Is there anyone out there that can give me a good reason, with out using religion as a basis for keeping those who want to serve out of the military, especially when we need them the most with the two fronted war going on?Gryphhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13559324664045017481noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543861559918510789.post-87085242953472259842010-09-19T12:06:00.000-05:002010-09-19T12:06:24.916-05:00From a friend on Facebook

MOTTS >>>>BAD APPLES >>I support the workers...

by Mary Anderson on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 12:41am

A Successful Company
I think that needs to be shouted from the roof tops, it would be interesting to find out just how many more folks are benefiting from something the Republicans and insurance companies didn't want to happen.
So how can we find out, where are the statistical sites that can put up the numbers for us? This would really be good to share so that all the GOP, who think they can bully their way into office with the saying, its no good, I'm going to repeal it...etc... can be shown that they were wrong and its time for them to go elsewhere for their living.Gryphhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13559324664045017481noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543861559918510789.post-29958787616647462312010-09-12T12:45:00.001-05:002010-09-12T12:46:22.350-05:00I'm sure what ever promises they makehttp://tinyurl.com/26pgxdg
Will not really be good for the common citizen of this country in the long run.
http://tinyurl.com/36wxfpt

It seems they will do anything to line their own pockets, no matter who it hurts.

In this day and age one would think we, of all nations in the world would have the best, kick ass care for all of our citizens, but no, we have mediocre care at best and insurance companies that dictate to the doctors what the patients should and shouldn't get and how long the patients should stay in the hospital, how long they should have therapy of what ever kind for the shortest amount of time that the insurer is willing to pay for. Never mind that the patient has probably been paying their hard earned money into this insurance company for years, decades in many cases, just to get crapped on by these folks when they need the help the most.

So how can we get the health care insurance folks under some semblance of working together with those who need it and the company's monetary bottom line?
I don't know, but we really need to get it done soon, like before the Republicans and the Blue Dog Democrats get back into office and take away the few changes for the better that we have now.Gryphhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13559324664045017481noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543861559918510789.post-42210849054212254552010-09-09T08:54:00.000-05:002010-09-09T08:54:06.139-05:00How do we deal with these kind of folks in our military?http://tinyurl.com/28lhuxw
I feel for the young man who called and spoke with his parents about this before he got added to the charges. With all the documentation he has, they should let him out of the charges, but who knows if they will do that.
Mind, I am not against those who believe in the Jesus Pantheon, but to actually have laws that favor one religion over another is just plain wrong and unhealthy for our country. Our country was never supposed to be a theocracy, it is a Democratic Republic, with protections for those who are minorities. After all who would ever want their rights voted on by others, specially those in the majority.

THE NIGHTMARE SET UPON AMERICA BY THE GOP !
My thoughts

Well, let’s get it on the table folks-this country and our Democracy are being hi-jacked by a “rabid” faction that has started with and has taken over the GOP. Corporate America, in the name of Koch and others are fueling this process by funding the movement. The radical evangelical right-made up of gullible “jesus” fanatics are being lead down the road of fascism by a mormon leader by the name of Beck. These religious mushrooms are being fed by Beck straight from the Hitler playbook of Mein Kampf.
What Sinclair Lewis said was true and it has arrived-make no mistake it is here and the nightmare is in the form of the GOP !
This plan started many years ago in fact, back to the mid 1930’s when a group was formed after a failed coupe planned by Prescott Bush to overthrow our government and FDR. The group of “jesus” freaks was headed by David Coe and they called themselves “The Family”. These men believed they were “the Chosen” and took portions of the bible to twist and distort on how they wanted to believe. They also read and believe many of the writings by Hitler found in Mein Kampf. They infiltrated our government by being a “secret” and closed group-not to be discussed outside of the members. They became elected officials of Congress and slowly started to “change” our government to fit and reflect their beliefs.
They remained in the background-quiet and waiting........
Then, we had the likes of paleoconservatives: Buchanan, Falwell, Graham that preached of “jesus”, but didn’t have a clue what Jesus was really about. Then the Savior of these people and the Republican party appeared-Reagan and the true demise of this country and democracy as we know it started ! And then we have George H. and George W. Bush. What a devil’s duo-especially the latter. Under Dick Cheney leadership-George W. ran this country into the ground and changed the face of America and not for the better. GW Bush believed his divine intervention came from God and was just-sound familiar ? When President Obama was elected the “Family” was not happy-their agenda had been interrupted, so they and former leaders-Bush, Cheney- Rove set upon a plan to bring Obama and the Democrats down at any cost ! The Palin, Beck, and Limbaugh movement by the faux propaganda machine is being used to incite violence, hate and bigotry and keep the right wingers stirred up. Now, the nightmare is here-we have fascist funding of the bible thumpers who think the GOP is going to represent them and their needs. What these folks don’t have a clue about is they are being bold faced lied to and used. They are being conned into voting for the GOP, Corporate America and the "elite rich". This is all being done in the name of jesus but not any Jesus I am familar with. Yes, jesus or so “The Family” wants them to believe ! The “Family” has finally reared its ugly head and revealed its glorious, self righteous plan. First, they want this country to be a Christian based nation - they will make sure you believe they way they want ! They will change our laws to fit their beliefs. No jews, muslins, buddists, atheists and certainly no gays-they will find a “special” place for this people who contribute to the “moral” decay of society. It will take awhile to weed out and find these people, but they will and it will be just and all done in the name of jesus. First comes America, and then the world ................. they are marching !
Its about time he stood up to those who would love to keep the rich richer, but its time for them to pay their fair share. I will admit there are a few rich folks who have philanthropy stuff going on, but most of them don't give to anyone but themselves. Why else would our government have to use the IRS to go after tax cheats, what with their off shore accounts and many other ways to hide what they have.Gryphhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13559324664045017481noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543861559918510789.post-34570566507386753102010-09-07T21:29:00.001-05:002010-09-07T21:44:55.861-05:00So, since I have opinions and friends who differAnd the two sides are usually not listening and are angry that neither side can see how they feel or think, I have chosen to use facebook for my bull shit stuff and this site for my rants over what I see.

This is how I see things, how I think about things and how I feel and they are from my personal filters. If you don't like what I have to say, then don't come here and read it. Stay on facebook and see the mundane person that I will be there.

I'm not always pleased with our government, but I'm more pleased with most of what is going on now in this country. I do have alot of animosity over the fundamentalists on all sides, they are the ones who put the rest of us at risk, just because they want things their way and don't give a shit who they hurt along the way.

Our country would be a whole lot worse off with McCain and Palin in office, in fact I don't think we would even have a country by this time. I think if we go backwards in this country we will soon be a third world country ourselves and I don't want that to happen.
Obama may not have been the best, but he is the best for this time and has gotten things done. Maybe not as much as I would like to see, but...eight years of neglect can't be undone in just a couple of years.Gryphhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13559324664045017481noreply@blogger.com2
